I've always wanted to run my blog using Moveable Type because it had all the cool features built right in. At the moment, I've got Blogger.com hosting this mozblog and I'm not completely thrilled. I know they're working on transitioning to new servers, but until then service is sometimes spotty. There is no built in calendar for my blog page, no comments, no Talkback, and no Pingback ... not that anyone other than Simon actually links to me. Six Apart has announced TypePad, which, as far as I can tell, will be a hosted solution. I still need to get a real webhost for my regular site, but a feature-rich blog would be dandy. Don't worry; I'll let you know if I decide to move.
You'll notice that I don't host my mozblog on my personal website. Comcast.net is not interested in being very helpful when it comes to that stuff. Questions about php, mysql, and SSI were responded to with a form letter, basically telling me that they had no interest in providing more than basic hosting.
