Well, the new name for Phoenix has been chosen. That hasn't stopped the speculation, since they didn't actually tell us what the new name is. Of course there will be plenty of bitching about it, but at least it's been done.
I'm visiting a different office for work this week, which means I had to download Phoenix. Unfortunately, the ftp server doesn't have anything older than March, so all of the nightlies available are crap. That's unfortunate, especially if they plan to release 0.6 based on it. I really hope they'll do it based on Mozilla 1.3 final. The March 10 build had a serious flashing issue and trying to open a default bookmark from the toolbar threw an exception.
Since I'll be back in New York in 2 weeks, I'll have to be sure to back up my home copy onto cd-rom. It's nice to use software that doesn't need to be "installed."
