While I think it was incredibly stupid for Netscape to release version 8.0 based on Firefox 1.0.3, they've now released 8.0.1 fixing 44 public security holes. I wonder if you can just download a patch, or if you have to get a full download. I guess that's a benefit of supporting only one platform. Also, is there an alert being served by their application update service? What about Extension and Theme updates?

Not sure 'bout this, sin't a cross-platform incrimental patching system planned for Firefox 1.1?
